DrivePad Shortcuts

Seamless automation, right out of the box.

DrivePadShortcuts tie Core and App together through a collection of downloadable Apple Shortcuts and Automations. They handle automation tasks such as locking the iPad when the vehicle is turned off, automatically opening the DrivePad app, and managing screen brightness for day and night.

Important setup note Shortcut links install the action only. The iPad power triggers must be added separately in the Shortcuts app using the automation steps below.
KEY ON Power connected

Key On

Runs when vehicle power reaches the iPad. Raises brightness, disables Low Power Mode, and prepares the iPad for driving.
